Lutterworth College

Sixth Form Admissions & Curriculum

Students embarking on A levels or BTEC qualifications will be expected to complete the two year 'journey' through Sixth Form and complete all of their level 3 courses within that time span. A levels will be taught with the expectation that students take all of their public examinations at the end of the two year course.

The three subject choices will be enriched by the vast amount of opportunities offered by the College to have a full personal portfolio that enables each student to leave Lutterworth Sixth Form with the confidence, character and creativity to cope with the challenges and opportunities in today’s dynamic society. Please note a maximum of one of the three subject choices can be a BTEC or AAQ qualification.

Students taking the Further Mathematics A level will continue to be able to access 4 A level choices.

Please click HERE for our entry requirements by subject.

In addition to the subject entry requirements a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 is also required. This MUST include a grade 4 in Maths and a grade 4 in English Language or English Literature, as we do not offer the option to resit these qualifications.

Applications

APPLICATIONS CAN BE MADE VIA OUR APPLICATIONS PORTAL.
Students will be asked to choose 3 preferred subject choices (or 4 in the case of Further Maths), with a maximum of one of these being a BTEC or AAQ; equally, students may choose 3 A Levels.
