Motivational speaker Dave Keeling from ‘Independent Thinking’ empowers Year 11 and 13 students
To support our students with their exam preparations, Year 11 and 13 students recently attended an inspirational talk by ‘stand-up educationalist’ Dave Keeling on learning, motivation and making the most of their time at school.
Dave is a speaker who works on behalf of Independent Thinking, an organisation which promotes creativity and excellence in education. He uses comedy and audience participation to engage his learners and leave them feeling motivated and inspired to take ownership of working towards their external exams in the summer. Dave’s sessions focused on how the brain works, organisational skills and touched on revision and exam preparation.
Feedback from students attending the session has been really positive, talking about how motivated the session left them feeling, knowing that they could do well in the summer and what they need to do to be successful.
